Students are interested in learning about Great Bustard
On February 27, 2024, BRCC staff held several meetings with students to raise awareness of an important bird species for southern Kazakhstan. It was about bustards. The first lecture was held for 1-3 year students of the Ecology Department of South Kazakhstan M. Auezov University.
The Turkestan Higher Multidisciplinary Agrarian College also welcomed our staff. The lecture on bustards was listened to by students - 1st and 2nd year students. In total, more than 120 students participated in the event. We thank the management of educational institutions for the excellent organization of the meetings!
The work was carried out within the framework of the project "Transboundary conservation of Great Bustard in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan". Our partner in this project in Uzbekistan is the Uzbekistan Bird Conservation Society @uzspb.
